Drop your skis off at our shop for a free inspection!
We generally recommend you to have your bindings adjusted with electronic tools at least once per season (preferably at the beginning of winter).
Waxing & sharpening!
Depending on the type of snow, skis need a ski service about once or twice a week.
Maximum pleasure obtained with the latest technology
The new ski and board service robot "Saphir" is used for automatic stone grinding of the surface, sharpening the side edges as well as for the high-tech-tuning of the base edges for one pair of skis or one snowboard at a time. These 3 service steps ensure maximum skiing pleasure, better maintenance of the equipment and improved safety. Skis serviced using this robot exactly respond to changes of direction, ensure easy analysis of turns, provide directional stability, optimum gliding performance and deliver a perfect edge grip. For the winter athlete the robot technique of Montana ensures optimum fun on the mountain, providing a piece of equipment which is fast and easy-turning, has optimum edge grip and offers increased safety.

You need to have well serviced and tuned skis if you really want to get the most out of carving and gliding on the slopes. That’s why Kitzsport offers you a unique service: each day, after close of business all skis handed over to the Kitzsport outlets for servicing and tuning are collected and sent to the central warehouse where they’re prepared for use on the slopes next day with the aid of state-of-the-art technology and lots of professional expertise. Serviced and tuned skis are returned to the requested branches at 7 am. What’s more, the hand-over and pick-up points don’t have to be the same: For example, you can hand over your skis at the Hahnenkammbahn and collect them again next morning at the Hornbahn.
All of our products and goods are delivered here at the central Kitzsport warehouse, which was set up in 2008. Across a high rack storage area of 400 m2, toboggans, skis, jackets, trousers and bicycles, etc. – in fact up to a total of 10,000 different articles – wait to be transported to the retail outlets where they are presented in their best light to the customer.
Peter Fischer runs the show. Together with his staff he takes delivery of the goods, checks them and attaches the prices. The merchandise is then order-picked as required and delivered to the seven different retail outlets. Every day the Kitzsport bus arrives at each branch and supplies it with the latest goods. This ensures the constant availability of the product range.
The entire range is available at all seven outlets. If, for example, certain sizes are out of stock at one of the branches, the Kitzsport team can fall back on the inventory at the other outlets. Daily deliveries from the central warehouse ensure the constant availability of merchandise. Skis are accepted for servicing and tuning at all outlets and delivered to the requested branch next day.
The only exception is our Pengelstein branch. This outpost has its very own ski servicing machine. Servicing and tuning only take 15 minutes on site – express ski servicing at the highest level (1,950 m above sea level).
